This past weekend, we went to a Bible conference in Walla Walla. It was so encouraging! Our family has been looking forward to this for months. We started driving Friday morning, and got to our destination just in time for an address after the Friday dinner. It was so weird seeing how all the people our age had changed and grown! Well, weird but in a happy way. We got to re-meet people in a way, reuniting after being apart for so long! It was a happy time.
The conference included Friday afternoon, all of Saturday and Sunday, and a picnic on Monday. I left conference so much encouraged and strengthened, as I’m sure everyone did. Not just encouraged, though, but also exhorted with lots of thinking to do.
I wish I got more pictures.
While the rest of my family stayed at a hotel, I got to go stay at Uncle S and Aunt B’s house with a few other girls. (If you’re reading this, K, A, V, C, and E, I say hi 🙂 ) It was so fun! We talked, laughed till we cried, and stayed up way too late in the hot tub. (We had Very Important Stuff to talk about)
Even the journey down and back was fun. The weather was beautiful most of the time, I got some neat pictures. And we couldn’t have picked a better time to visit Walla Walla–everything was green and in bloom!
Thank you to those who worked so hard to make the conference go so well, and for the great encouragement! With love from Canada.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind”–Psalm 104:1-3 (KJV)
