Morning Dew

December 27th, 2014,

The early dew of morning,
So pretty and adorning!
Lays fresh on bright green leaves and grass,
And daffodils look made of brass,
When dew sets her delicate hand upon them.
And as the day gets hotter,
And the dew starts to give away,
The fairies come to get their water.
Then time moves from morning to day.
And the dew of early morning disappears…
-Slowly-
-drop-
by drop.

I wrote this poem when I was around eight or nine, I think it was my first one. I still think the dew is beautiful! : )
