Today, it's the birthday of one of the most hard-working, unselfish, and loving people I know.
My mother is turning 38 today, and she's been a mom for just over 15 years, constantly taking care of me and my siblings. She doesn't get much praise for her work as a mom, but we all know she deserves it. It's hard to imagine life without her. Whenever I'm feeling upset, she knows just how to make me feel better. If you've ever tasted her cooking, you'd know that it's delicious. She spends extra time before birthdays creating a beautiful cake just to make the birthday special.
The most recent cake she made was Hal's, which was under a week ago:

My 5th Birthday

One of the few things I remember when I broke my arm at three years old is my mom there taking care of me. She went with me in the ambulance, and I remember her there in the x-ray room.

Sometimes, we take her for granted a little, and forget to thank her or really appreciate what she does for us.
Happy Birthday Mama! We love you!

Beautiful Day

Today is gorgeous! I just had to share some pictures. Sorry for my sporadic posting recently :P

Molly thought I was going to give her a treat...

So did Scout :)

Even though I just posted, I wanted to post again because I couldn't ignore how beautiful it is outside. Enjoy!

Letters Of Love

"But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another."

Gifts from schoolmates to various siblings of mine

Mama had Valentine's day all planned out. I was the first one to wake up that morning, and I found a little bag at the table at my spot, with my name on it. Everyone else had a bag placed at their table spot as well. Each bag included a Ziploc of candy, a card from Mama, black paper hearts which could be scratched to create rainbow drawings, and a little heart-shaped notebook. It was special to wake up and find a gift just for you.

Mama also bought little dolls made of rubber of some sort that transform into the cutest little cupcakes. They are adorable! All the girls got some, and even Pixie loved them! They are the perfect size for her little hands, and feel so good on her gums. :)

A couple weeks before Valentines day, we set up a box in the living room for Valentines to each other, and in the time beetween then and Valentines day, It had been steadily filling up with  little notes. We opened it, and everyone got a whole handful of them! I think Pixie and Mama got the most, though.

Anyways, I have to go, so Happy Belated Valentines Day!

Five months old!

Pixie moved from my parents room into the nursery with Loulou, and this is her in her new bed.

She was squirming and cooing in this picture, so I'm surprised at how good it turned out:)

Try to look at her without smiling...

Sleepy baby

Pixie is five months old today, and she's growing fast. She can roll from her tummy to her back, and occasionally rolls from her back to her tummy as well. She hasn't sat up yet, but you can tell that she's thinking about it. Once in a while, when she sees something she wants, Pixie will do a half sit up. She's  still cute no matter what she does, and really is a pretty baby.

It's hard to believe you are five months old already, Pixie, but at the same time, have we only had you for five short months?
